What can you find here? Honest advice on how to use walking to get fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle. However, you will NOT find information on the latest fitness fads, gimmicks, or quick weight loss diets. Our interest is fitness for life, not quick fixes or gimmicks. Our goal is to provide helpful information and motivation for you to start walking and stay active, improving both your spirits and your health. New information is added to the site on a regular basis.

The Walking Site is owned by Patty Cartwright (PC), an
active mom, wife, personal trainer, and certified running coach. Patty enjoys walking marathons, trail running, and additional fitness activies. Patty also volunteers in many capacities in the running and walking community.

Patty provides personal training locally. She also works with walkers and runners remotely offering custom training plans, marathon coaching, and online personal training. Fees vary depending on your needs.
